All parents and caregivers should plan on attending our first Parent Education Workshop of the year. Families will have the  an opportunity to broaden their understanding on a variety of topics related to strengthening the home-school connection, parenting, cultural studies and other areas of interest. This event will focus on Reading and Math Readiness.

TWO WORKSHOPS IN ONE!

Workshop One
Professional Tutors of America: Parent Involvement. This workshop helps parents understand the
importance of their involvement in their child’s education. Learn tips and strategies to get involved, help
with homework, and boost test scores. Learn tips that will allow you to work your child’s school to make
your involvement meaningful and effective. Parents will be inspired and motivated to get involved and
watch their children succeed!

Workshop Two
10 Things You Need To Know About The Closing of CLAS and the Opening of Validation Academy.
This workshop will answer all your questions in regards to the closure of CLAS and the latest with the
opening of the new Validation Academy.

Continental breakfast as well as chilcare will be provided for a nominal fee of $5.00 per child. As
an incentive for attending, families will receive four (4) participation hours toward the 42 – hour
requirement plus a free dress voucher per child.
